This was a collaboration between a friend living in Canada and in NZ. He recorded an idea and asked me to come up with a creative drum track to go with his tune. We went back and forth over ideas and finally agreed with this. This was my first foray into digital recording, learning the nuances of digital recording and mixing with Logic Pro

This tune is a time signature of 6/8 which has a nice circular feel to it. What makes this tune interesting is the need to play with sensitivity as well as add colour to enhance the music
